BookEventos is a platform operated by Nexa Digitas Private Limited, facilitating ticket sales on behalf of event organizers.
Please review our refund policy and event entry rules carefully.
1. General Policy
All ticket purchases made through www.bookeventos.com are final and non-refundable, except under specific conditions outlined below.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to this Refund Policy.
2. Responsibility of Event Organizers
- All events listed on BookEventos are managed by event organizers
- Decisions regarding cancellations, postponements, and refunds are made solely by the organizer
- BookEventos acts only as a facilitator
3. Eligible Refund Scenarios
Refunds may be considered only in the following situations:
a) Event Cancellation
- If an event is officially canceled by the organizer
- Customers may be eligible for a full or partial refund (as decided by the organizer)
b) Event Postponement
- Tickets may remain valid for the rescheduled date
- Refunds are only issued if the organizer explicitly approves
c) Technical or Payment Errors
- Duplicate transactions
- Failed bookings where payment was deducted
- System-related issues caused by BookEventos
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will NOT be provided for:
- Change of mind
- Failure to attend the event
- Late arrival or denied entry due to lateness
- Violation of event rules (dress code, behavior, age restrictions)
- Minor changes (timing, lineup, program flow)
- Dissatisfaction with the event
5. Refund Process
- Refund requests must be submitted to the event organizer
- BookEventos will process refunds only if organizer approval is received OR issue is platform-related
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
6. Processing Time
Refund timelines depend on:
- Organizer approval
- Payment provider processing
- Typical processing time: 7–14 business days
7. Important Notes
- Service/convenience fees may be non-refundable
- BookEventos is not liable for refund decisions made by organizers
This policy applies to all events booked through BookEventos.
1. Valid Entry Requirements
To enter an event, you must present:
- Valid ticket (QR code / confirmation)
- Valid ID (NIC / Passport / Driving License if required)
Failure to present valid proof may result in denied entry.
2. Entry & Admission Rules
Entry is subject to organizer and venue rules. Organizers reserve the right to:
- Refuse entry
- Conduct security checks
- Remove attendees for misconduct
3. Age Restrictions
- Some events may have age limits (e.g., 18+)
- Valid ID may be required
- No refunds if entry is denied due to age restrictions
4. Dress Code Policy
- Events may enforce dress codes (e.g., Smart Casual)
- Entry may be denied for non-compliance
- No refunds will be issued
5. Late Entry & Re-Entry
- Latecomers may be denied entry
- Some events enforce “No Re-Entry” policies
- No refunds for missed or partial attendance
6. Prohibited Items
The following may be restricted:
- Outside food & beverages
- Alcohol
- Weapons or hazardous items
- Professional cameras or recording equipment
- Any item deemed unsafe
Confiscated items are not the responsibility of BookEventos.
7. Conduct & Behavior
You must not:
- Engage in violent, abusive, or disruptive behavior
- Damage venue property
- Violate local laws
Violation may result in removal without refund.
8. Ticket Validity
- Each ticket is valid for one-time entry only
- Duplicate or copied tickets will be rejected
- First scan = valid entry
9. Lost or Misused Tickets
- Lost or stolen tickets will not be replaced
- Unauthorized usage voids entry
10. Media Consent
By attending an event, you consent to:
- Photography and video recording
- Use of your image for promotional purposes
11. Liability Disclaimer
BookEventos and organizers are not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen belongings
- Injuries or damages at events
