1. Definitions

• “BookEventos” / “Platform” refers to www.bookeventos.com and all related services
• “Company” refers to Nexa Digitas Private Limited
• “User” / “Customer” refers to any individual using the platform
• “Organizer” refers to any entity or individual hosting or promoting an event
• “Event” refers to any activity, show, or experience listed on the platform
• “Ticket” refers to any physical or digital entry pass (QR, code, wristband, etc.)
• “Services” refers to ticketing, booking, payment facilitation, and related services

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using this platform:

• You confirm acceptance of these Terms
• You agree to comply with all applicable laws
• You consent to our data practices (see Privacy Policy)

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.

3. Nature of Service

BookEventos acts strictly as an intermediary platform that:

• Facilitates ticket sales on behalf of event organizers
• Provides a booking and payment interface
• Distributes tickets electronically

We do not control or manage events unless explicitly stated.

4. User Eligibility & Responsibility

You confirm that:

• You are legally capable of entering a binding agreement
• Information provided is accurate and up to date
• You are responsible for all activity under your account

5. Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining your account credentials
• Any misuse or unauthorized access must be reported immediately
• We are not liable for losses due to compromised accounts

6. Ticket Purchase Policy

• All tickets are subject to availability
• Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable unless stated
• Tickets cannot be resold for commercial gain or above face value
• Tickets may be transferred only to family or friends (non-commercial use)

If fraudulent activity is detected:

• Tickets may be canceled without refund
• Legal action may be taken

7. Pricing & Payments

• Prices are set by event organizers
• Additional service or convenience fees may apply
• Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways
• BookEventos does not store card details
• Fraudulent transactions may result in cancellation without refund

8. Ticket Delivery

• Tickets are issued electronically (email, QR code, or link)
• You must provide a valid email/contact number
• It is your responsibility to check and safeguard your ticket

We are not responsible for:

• Incorrect email submissions
• Lost, stolen, or duplicated tickets
• Unauthorized use of tickets

9. Entry Requirements & Verification

At the event, you may be required to present:

• Valid ticket (QR/confirmation)
• Government-issued ID
• Payment method used

Failure to provide valid verification may result in denied entry.

10. Event Attendance & Usage Policy

You agree that entry is subject to venue and organizer rules. Organizers reserve the right to:

• Refuse entry
• Conduct security checks
• Remove individuals for misconduct

No refunds will be issued if:

• Entry is denied due to behavior, dress code, or age restrictions
• You arrive late or miss the event
• You leave and cannot re-enter (if no re-entry policy applies)

11. Prohibited Activities at Events

You must not:

• Bring restricted items (weapons, alcohol, etc.)
• Engage in disruptive, illegal, or unsafe behavior
• Violate venue or event rules

Organizers may confiscate items or remove you without refund.

12. Ticket Misuse & Resale

• Tickets cannot be resold above original price

Unauthorized resale may result in:

• Ticket cancellation
• Denial of entry
• No refund

Avoid purchasing tickets from unauthorized sources.

13. Lost, Stolen, or Misused Tickets

• BookEventos does not replace lost or stolen tickets
• First scan of ticket = valid entry
• Duplicate or copied tickets will be invalid

14. Event Changes & Organizer Responsibility

Event organizers are solely responsible for:

• Event execution
• Schedule changes
• Artist lineup
• Venue management

BookEventos is not liable for:

• Event cancellations
• Delays or rescheduling
• Changes in performers or format

15. Refund Policy

General Rule

All tickets are non-refundable, unless explicitly stated.

Eligible Refund Scenarios

Refunds may be considered only if:

• Event is canceled
• Event is postponed (subject to organizer approval)
• Technical/payment error occurs (BookEventos responsibility)

Important Conditions

• Refund decisions are made by the Event Organizer
• BookEventos only processes refunds if authorized
• Refunds are issued to the original payment method

Non-Refundable Situations

No refunds for:

• Change of mind
• Late arrival or no-show
• Minor event changes (lineup, timing)
• Dissatisfaction with event quality

16. Media & Recording Consent

By attending events, you agree that:

• You may be photographed or recorded
• Organizers may use such content for marketing or promotional purposes
• You waive rights to claims or compensation

17. Marketing & Communications

By using BookEventos, you may receive:

• Booking confirmations
• Service updates
• Marketing communications (if opted-in)

Marketing may include:

• Email, SMS
• Ads via Meta Platforms and Google

You can opt out at any time.

18. Intellectual Property

All platform content including:

• Branding
• Design
• Text and visuals

are owned by BookEventos or its licensors and cannot be used without permission.

19. Third-Party Services

We are not responsible for:

• External websites
• Organizer services
• Third-party actions

20. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookEventos shall not be liable for:

• Event-related issues
• Injuries, losses, or damages
• Indirect or consequential losses

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

21. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify BookEventos against any claims arising from:

• Misuse of the platform
• Violation of these Terms
• Illegal or fraudulent activity

22. Termination

We may:

• Suspend or terminate accounts
• Cancel bookings

without prior notice if Terms are violated.

23. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, with jurisdiction in Colombo courts.
